Hi All Have you noticed there hasn't been an update since Nov.7th? After I took that picture of the engine compartment disaster struck. The light was close, the paint is dark and the plastic is thin. I didn't waste any time taking the picture because of those elements but NOT fast enough. I was gutted to say the least so I put the model in the box and placed it in a drawer to keep the dust off of it. Yesterday I got it out decide on a plan and fixed it almost as good as new. I took a razor blade and removed the shell retainers and lifting rings. I sanded the top of the bin as smooth as possible, cut a patch from a thin plastic "For Sale" sign and glued it in place. I put a steel V block on it for a few hours and then reinstalled the retainers and rings. This morning I repainted the top of the bin and tomorrow i'll Future coat the model getting it ready for decals. Sorry for the update delays Tony lee

Wow ! That was a close one Tony ! Excellent episode of saving plastic . Remember the Pz.1 I melted in Andy's g.b. over at FSM ? That's why I only use led lamps in my photo booth now . Hint .
