Academy 1/72 YF-16 - Finished

Hi all this should have been a fast build, bought this one almost free.
and Now I know why, I'm not ranting but I'll consider this one a challenge and will do justice as much as I can.

to start with this is one of my pending build for our Local seal GB challenge

on the build itself a lot work on the undercarriage should be done, if you had a RTS tool it will make you lessen the time. the Intake had 2 very stubborn injection pins, a bit over size so a lot of sanding is needed to make it fit. cockpit no panels no stick no whatsover just a seat and decals for controls, decided to leave it alone a put small stretch sprue for a the pilot. the nose cone is also a bit of oversize, a lot of sanding is also needed, the wings both side needs a putty to cover the ejection marks, which already makes my hand numb from sanding. also the exhaust it also needs alot of cleaning with a large pin sticking inside. after this one most of the lines will be need to rescribe.

I was actually thinking how to fit them.... just watch Honey I shrunk the kids ((LOL))

Pre-shade and Base coat done for the Falcon... its a dollar kit build.

plan to do it OOB, still need a lot of practice when it comes to Planes.

Last update before it finished, I salvage some decals from a friend, since the kit supplied decals are off its far more different that academy providing now. Just a few touch up and panel wash and she's good to go.

Did i read somewhere that you still need a lot of practice...........coz in my opinion it don`t look like ya need too much from here mate.................wonderful job indeed ;D
