"Breakfast at the End of the World" - DAK at rest

Hi folks...

This one is a bit older now and one of my favourites when it Comes to realisticmodels. Realistic because Im doing SciFi and Steampunk stuff mainly.

I got the Tamiya field kitchen from a friend and decided that it has to have a little scene around. This was the time when MasterBox brought a new set of DAK figures, and the decision was made. The rest is "history". Originally, it was a GB entry for a North African Campaign GB and the first live showoff was at the German DPMV Convent in Fuldatal/Germany where it ranked 1st in the diorama category.  

One of the figures wasnt glued, so it got a "Special washing" when a Club member took a closer look - it landed directly in mycoffee. Lol. So if you dont have Vallejo or GW washings, coffee will do it as well!

Great work!!! I really like how you use those dried plant roots for tree. That's something I should give it a shot before winter arrives.

Do you have a river nearby? Shores are always a good idea for roots - free them from dirt, put them in the oven for about 10 min. at ca. 60-80 dregrees Celsius, done!
