Can any one give me some insight on what color the primer would be on an SU-100, if in fact it was used? Thanks for the help, Jeff T.

I believe the Russians used a standard yellow primer but not sure if that use continued post-war.

I've read while researching Russian Green paint that the paint was a combo mix of primer and paint all in one. Sounds reasonable to me learning about the Russian war machine "Design it simple, make it work and build lots of them."

Also to my knowledge the primer color was the very same green, mixed with some lead. Same practice as on US vehicles.
