Many thanks for all the positive feedback yes Chriss i wanted to use foamboard but had the osb board and thought it would be a nice solid base for the cork i will use the foamboard next time i think. Last night i got the half the base in primer so il post up the pics over the weekend when i get time. Dan B

Many thanks for your positive feedback everything you see on the base is scratchbuilt with cork, polystyrene, balsa wood, cardboard and osb board last nite i started some brick wall chunks that will be layed in the debris they turned out better then expected does anyone know any good model sites that sell 1/35 household items ie baths, basins, kitchen sinks? Looking forward to seeing the wall sections. Not sure who makes those home furnishings...I'm interested in a few of those myself, especially heaters ( radiators)

wow.....love the layout Dan. That KT is lost on that base....but it's realistic which is great. I want to see the painting of the build and road.

As promised a few pics of the new ruined building it is a lot smaller since the last so it might shock a few!!!!! lol i think it looks a tad more realistic what do you think? Plans drawn onto polystyrene board ready for cutting. The basic shape ready for the bricks. Finished front wall. on the dio. Dan B

i think that looks a bit better in terms of size the tank was dwarfed by the other house.
What did you do the brick work with?
