Hi guys time for another build as my small panzer reaches the finishing stages . This is Dragons Mid Production kit and has been fun so far apart from some small errors in the instructions which is par for the course.................. Working on the running gear at the mo as its easier to fit the tracks with the fenders off . The tracks are ok , great fit but lacking in some detail .... thank God for mud They are styrene and manufactured by Maco who work in collaboration with Revell on some off beat subjects. So still got loads to do but the kit builds quickly so that gives you an idea of the quality . Oh yeah ...... more Zimm! lol Cheers Deano

You're fast as lightning. Dunno if it's a real deal for you to build in such a small scale. Kits may be very little expensive, but at a rate of 3-4 at a month they're not cheap Jokes apart, great start, looking forward to seeing more of your fine job

Dragon and instructions... they seems to be allergic to each other. Bring on the Zimm like you did last time... it will be another great build!

So tracks are finished and went together perfectly , the lack of fine detail is the only thing that lets them down . Easy fix tho with mud, snow or both Also been working on the super structure and as the gun can only be fixed ( non movement ) then I have fixed it in a longe range firing position . Cheers Deano

Tracks look pretty good despite lack of details... dig broken tracks!

Thanks Andy , the broken or changed tracks gives me more spares to form another set . The Maco sets give you , normal, winter and Ost tracks with spares for each. As I wont be using the normal tracks Im throwing them in where I can to get more out of the WINTER/OST sets.

Thank you guys , Bill thats kinda the reason I chose this as my next build Gary its always a pleasure Ok well progress is good on this ....................... My next move was to get the running gear base coated and the tracks fitted so I could cary on with the build . In order to do that I had to start the Zimm on the lower hull. Basecoat on the lower hull and tracks fitted. Now its time to fit the superstructure and a dry fit tells me there maybe trouble ahead lol. Deano

Hi Leon , its not such a good fit on the front glacis , think I might have a small gap in the end . Some MR Surfacer will sort that out Im sure.

Lovely work! Looks like I have to start calling you King of 1/72... maybe 1/76 too if you wish to rule another empire.

Those ginormous clamps would solve any gap issue in a heart beat! Paint and zim work on the lower hull looks good, now just need the patient to recover sufficiently from the clampage and you're all set.

Results of the clampage are in and I got better results than I thought I would............ I had noticed Looks like you'll still need some putty, although a lot less than what the initial impression suggested.

Thanks Gary , if you have enough Dragon kits under your belt then you begin to accept the intruction mistakes as just part of the build . Tis a sweeeeeeeeeeet kit tho but not cheep for its size , paid 16 quid for this one . Anyhoo if you want a good Brummbar in this scale I think Dragon is the best so far .
