Rumor has it that Friulmodel Track Company was sold. Vendors looking for late orders or placing restock orders said that the new owners are not responding to their e-mails or calls. This rumor is makin me nervous. Tony lee

Friul moved to Hungry from Italy because environmental standards increased. Now Hungry raised theirs and the owner couldn't afford to meet requirements so he sold out.
That's the word "T".

The company I could'n't think of ... Easy Metal Links. dEr sockelshop & Historex carry them- a limited range at the moment, but expanding into modern stuff with Diehls for the Leo 2 and Puma due out soon. Pricing this side of the pond looks comparable - from Historex at least. Not sure of Sockelshop. P

Paul When Friul first started they had the same system of assembly as the Easy Metal Links and they went to the wire method because the links were falling apart. During assembly the links need to be perfectly square to each other or the weight of the tracks is transferred to the shorter side and they can pull apart.
I would buy Spade Ace before Easy Link for that one reason.

In most cases,I will be using Magic Tracks or DS,I refuse to spend Fruil money on every kit.
