Between this and the Modena, I actually purchased this kit first, saw the quality and went out and found the Modena. I had always intended to build them at the same time more or less, and while I was out shopping eBay Motors for reference shots of the Modena, I found a Spider that should I have had $125,000 I would have promptly bought... So with all these reference photos in hand, I'm going dueling Ferraris -- which beats dueling banjos everyday of the week and twice on Saturdays.
I'll spare you a re-posting of shared parts runners as there are only a few Spider specific parts...

Interior parts, Up-Top -- Note there are seat backs in this kit. The Modena seats have no seat backs, I guess they figured people might notice that on a topless vehicle.

Some additional window masks for the Spider's windows as well as new decal art that features actual license plates rather than generic "Ferrari 360" tags

Couple of "beauty" shots of the body - I personally think the Spider is way sexier than the coupe...

Knowing that I can't assemble the "Step 1" of the chassis and spray it all at once, I'm going to skip messing with those parts until the weather warms up a few degrees, currently it's 22 degrees (that'd be -5.5 for the GMTers) and while 50+ would be ideal, I can at least babysit it along if it's above freezing. Shame cause it's gloriously sunny just cold as ferk out there. I will probably only post photos to this as I complete the sub-assemblies since the two kits mirror each other quite a bit. The major difference between the two - other than colors, neither will be Ferrari Red - is the Spider will sport the "two tone" beige and black interior, while the Modena will feature the "Triple Black" interior. I want the Spider's interior to "pop" with some color rather than being a sea of black shading.
