As per usual I have been spreading my limited time across far too many projects. None the less I have made a bit of progress on the base. The building wall is foam core with broken plaster and random gravel etc as building rubble. I want to add some elements to busy up the rubble and then I'll be onto paint. Cheers, Brett Brett - not seeing any pics here...not sure how to fix your formatting!

Hey fellas!!
Brett, you are using google 'Photos'. Ever since they updated the system not too long ago, the url's given when we copy the pictures from our albums are HUGE! Something embedded in the longer url's wreaks havoc on forums and other webpages. I had the same issue where I would only see the picture while everyone else see the broken picture link or error icon.
There is no fix for this at the moment through the normal "new version" of Google Photos. However, if you log into Picasa, the older version of the Photos, you can right click and copy the url the way we are used too. This is a big PITA but until Google gets their head out of theirs and realizes that not everyone shares direct to mainstream social medias, we are stuck.
Picasa works fine, just keep tabs on the auto uploads in both Picasa and Google Photos as I believe they both count against the storage amount. Another option is to get a Photobucket (which I hate, but I digress), Flickr or any number of free web-based photo storage accounts in the meantime.
Best of luck!

Thanks T, I was wondering about those extra long URLs. I did work out what the issue was though. It turns out I hadn't "shared" the photo yet, once that was done I got a regular sized URL and the job was done.
Cheers,
Brett

Great! I see the pics too now! Well done on the base construction! Looks fantastic! Always so much detil in the primer stage!! Ahh...the "Share Trick"! I remember reading about that as being one of the so-called fixes...and it does in fact allow the picture to be seen. I think when I read it I disregarded that as I didn't want to actually share the picture or album on Google. Not being selfish...lol, just sometimes I might pop alternate photos of things I am working on in some folders and like it to stay private is all!
