This review is for the 2010 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR which is a pending release for Revell of Germany in November 2013. Now you guys over there will of course get in the traditionally flat-box that Revell AG uses...but here's our box art.

Here's our decal sheet, usually when we get Revell of Germany kits reboxed into our North American style boxes they just toss a couple of U.S. style license plates onto an otherwise unchanged decal sheet. One thing I will draw your attention to is that there are for some reason two car length body stripes, but only one is actually used on the 1:1 car, meaning that you would have to mask off and paint all of the black areas yourself. It also limits you to a car that uses the black/red motiff, but you'll notice the Viper head are in three different colors reflecting the different paint schemes that are truly possible.

Now the following parts runners are going to be all over the place in regards to contents, but they are packaged in random assortments too, so I was just shooting photos as they came out of the bags.
First up are the tires. They are a set of big and little tires, BARELY. The fronts are fractionally smaller than the rears, they have decent tread, but are devoid of any sidewall detailing. Also they are a pretty hard rubber compound unlike any other Revell tire I've come across.

Shinny bits - You could probably cut the side-wing mirror faces and headlight buckets off this thing and then dump the entire rest of it into whatever your chrome-stripper of choice happens to be. As the wheels are supposed to be black and everything else is dull aluminum. Not sure why Revell can't cast in a satin finish like Tamiya does...

Rear Deck (opens), rear bumper

Next baggie -- Chassis plate - check out those finely engraved ejector marks on there...and the nearly impossible to remove copyrighting right in between the ribs mid-chassis

Here's a random assortment if ever there was one -- Instrument panel, steering wheel, steering column, starter, radiator hoses, and the radiator. The single electric fan half isn't used, and is one of many "carry-over" parts from earlier Viper kits. Parts numbers are your friend with this kit.

This is an runner featuring the front (unused) and rear suspension/defusers - the rear sporting ANOTHER copyright in the middle of it. The rear shocks, rear inner fenders and...engine serpentine belt.

Next runner has the rear end parts, numerous sway bars, the intake and fan shroud, front coil springs and master brake cylinder.

NEXT BAGGIE -- Hood (err Bonnet?)

Wing parts and side pieces
DSC01428 (1280x844) by niteowl7710, on Flickr
ACR specific engine parts -- Rocker covers, intake, correct dual electric fan half of the radiator, ignition shields.
DSC01429 (1280x1052) by niteowl7710, on Flickr
More ACR specific parts -- The correct front suspension/defuser, wing mirrors, brakes (lacking any disc detail), wheel backs, and exhaust pipes
DSC01430 (1280x966) by niteowl7710, on Flickr
NEXT BAGGIE -- Interior plate with inner fenders - the small piece is the hatch "clasp"

Firewall, seats, and interior door panels
DSC01432 (1280x659) by niteowl7710, on Flickr
Engine parts runner -- Some are shared parts, the only things used here are the cylinder heads, oil pan, headers and front engine cover
DSC01433 (1280x907) by niteowl7710, on Flickr
Engine block - the rest is unused
DSC01434 (1280x786) by niteowl7710, on Flickr

Finally! The body itself, it has decent proportional accuracy as Revell was making promotional models at the time this kit came out, so this was made from factory CAD data. Mold lines are minimal due to the opening panels, and the trunk area does have texturing to represent the carpeting. Still not sure exactly WHY it has the opening hatch as the earlier Viper kits did not.
