When I make an Internet shortcut on my desktop for certain sites the icon will be like a logo for that particular company or page. Like FSM has a big red F or the Perth site having PMMS in yellow letters in a black square. But This site, Armorama and Hyperscale has generic IE icons. How do I get those of the other sites?

You can assign your own graphics to an internet shortcut in the Properties of the shortcut, but it has to be a file you have on your PC. The reason you get those 'auto' icons is down to the site having made them available in their root files/folders and your browser 'borrows' it when the shortcut is created. In other words, if the site doesn't make it available on their own, you're stuck with the generic one!

Bill is correct . I didn't have anything else to do right now, so I made an icon that you can use if you'd like: www.mediafire.com/download/c6hbknkqizkyifl/MSC_Shortcut_Image.icoTo get it to work, you can do the following: 1. Make the shortcut. 2. make a folder somewhere, and put the shortcut in it. 3. right-click the shortcut, and click "make shortcut" (windows is weird 4. move that new shortcut to your desktop, and rename it whatever you choose 5. download the icon (he.e: www.mediafire.com/download/c6hbknkqizkyifl/MSC_Shortcut_Image.ico ), and place it wherever - you might as well put it where the old shortcut is 6. right clock on the new shortcut, and click properties, and then "change icon". 7. click "browse", and navigate to where you put the icon that you downloaded, then click it, then clock "Ok". 9. DONE! Hope I didn't go way overkill on this
