Andy - your IN! Nemo - I can not agree more on every point that you have made. Better get some rest before you start, your going to need it. SO as I stated above this kit is WAY over engineered. I think that they were smoking the plastic as they designed it. basically.....its a freaking mess. Flash on every sprue, tiny parts for one assembly step scattered on four trees, mold seams EVERYWHERE, and some parts just don't fit correctly because the alignment tabs are to large.....way to large and don't fit into their female counterparts (stop it....I know what your thinking). Prime example of poor fitting. A23 is the oil pan, trani, transverse case part that has four alignment pins that are to go into the chassis rails. You will have to sand these real thin in order to fit. Ir you try to make the openings on the chassis rails larger you may break it, its way to fragile An example of over engineering, the front bumper is 8 parts.............WTF! the cable roller for the winch is three parts and you can hardly get them aligned correctly. The winch and cable spool were easy.....Yeah right, took almost a half hour to get it fitted properly, but hey its only four parts...LOL [/URL
Other assorted drive train parts.
Rear bumper is eight parts, be careful because G33 and G30 are molded separate..............don't ask, they are microscopic and could have been molded as one piece still have to add a night marker light which is two pieces as well? ? The kicker is that once the rest of the drive train is in place and the suspension modules you wont even see a 10th of this. So more scotch tonight before I hit the bench and some meds as well. Enjoy my friends Bob CRAP! I think my eyeball fell out

Gents - project cancelled. The kit is so poorly done that nothing fits......nothing. If any one has this kit chuck it or bring it back for the Kinetic kit.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the precipitate.

Bob
I am sorry for your struggles, but thanks for the warning. I saw this kit at a recent show and did think about it for a bit, but wanted to wait to see a build of it first. Phew!!!! Glad I did that!

bbrowniii - Dont do it man. I have looked at some in box reviews on the web and every kit is the same......horrible
Gary - only thing I saved was the cab portion....cause its going down range this weekend and 150gr bullet from my Springfield M1A will be so satisfying.

I hear ya Bob, if you had persevered you would have discovered:-
Part numbers incorrect on the instructions Parts not there! More questionable fit Poorly placed or missing location points Dodgy moulding Lots more fun....not
As I said, mine sits part built with Dicky waiting for his magic touch
It's a great shame because as a military vehicle it's one I find very interesting and want to model, fingers crossed someone like Meng or Bronco have a crack at it....
