Hi folks... Again its time to misuse some leftovers from my stash to create something new. While the "Falke" was in progress, consisting of loads of P-38 parts I remembered that I had an original P-38 in 1/32 scale in stash. Ive always been a fan of kitbashing, furthermore Marcel Du Longs works inspire me more and more - I just cant get enough of them. www.marceldulong.comEspecially that "Chasing Blight Drone"... www.marceldulong.com/c9.htmlmade me thinking about creating a drone by myself. Not the very same one of course, more "Maschinenkrieger" style. A propos "Maschinenkrieger" - the main parts will be the lower part of a P-38 middle section and the Falkes rail gun (I did... no I am still working on the "Excimer Laser Cannon" version) was left over. So this one will be adopted here. Okay, maybe a little "Oblivion" drone influence, too. LOL. More very soon...

Nice use of 'found' parts/materials Lucas, looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Great link to the Marcel Du Long stuff!
Do you have any idea where this drone is going? Mockup/schematic/anything? Or are you just building as you go?

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the precipitate.

Thanks all. Dupes, in most cases I get my ideas during the build. And sometimes by chance, like yesterday. Went to the Leipzig Christmas market with my girlfriend and her cousin yesterday, and while we were shopping a bit, I saw a special offer of Tamiyas Flakvierling at a local toy store (6 € only). Loads of useful spare parts in this kit.
