Here's another addition to my collection. This time it is a model of the new series Battle Star Galactica and it’s Cylon Raider in 1/32 scale. It was released by Moebius Models and scale corresponds to their pre released Viper Mk. II and MK. VII. The instructions are pretty simple, but the whole building process is well described in text and drawings. The set consists of four frames of gray plastic and one clear. Included is a base for the model from transparent plastic composed of two parts. Model itself consists of 24 parts in gray plastic and 3 parts transparent. Stand, front view window and the inside of engines. The lower part of the center fuselage, upper part of the "head", side engines, rear engine nozzles, guns The lower part of the right wing and air intakes The lower part of the left wing and the lower part of the "head" and the FDL engine The upper part of the hull and engine covers The model is nicely molded and judging by his appearance there should not be any problems with assembly and needs large amounts of filler. Thanks to the transparent elements it is possible to highlight the model, but the set does not contain any lights and you would have to prepare it yourself. The model is interesting and fairly simple to do. I do recommend it to any BSG fans as well as other modelers who want to try something different and expand their collections with the interesting item. You can buy it Here

LOL...Think your selling yourself short there....But, you have a point on the "interesting building thread". Splashcoat's Colonial Viper over on SMA got some nostalgic juices flowing. Brought me back to the days of watching that crap on TV!! Or was it watching that on a crap TV? LOL...I definitely see the floating space debris field buddy with this one!!! Blaster marks and tons of weathering!!! Take about 4 seconds to build, month to mount and 3 months to paint!! ;D ;D ;D (Mumble, mumble, mumble....freakin' gonna be looking at Sci-Fi stuff at the Wings & Wheels Show the end of this month...That darn Biskup!!! )
