It is amazing what they can do with special effects /CGI , I have seen some low budget films use CGI and it was cringing to watch . What they do in you short Vid prove that CGI is moving forward and still improving . They obviousley need to tweek a few things for example the panzer IV's dont look quite right  however I really cant wait for the day that when making war films they will be able to take you to the fire and smoke of WWII battles ..... or as close as you can get in CGI.... It really is about time we had another WWII blockbuster Deano |

It is a movie, but according to the reviews not a very good one. IMDbIf you want to watch a Russian war movie try "The 9th Company" I saw it streaming on Netflix, but not sure if it still there. 9th CompanyDennis |

Couldn't care less about someone else's opinion of a movie. Won't stop me from seeing it. And 9th Company is still there, i just added it to my watch list.

I never rely on others movie critiques cept a couple family members with the same taste as me. I too will see that movie. Dennis, ive never heard of 9th Company, but looks awesome and is goin on and to the top of my Netflix list! |

I just noticed that the Stalingrad movie and 9th Company are by the same director. 9th Comapny is loosely based on the battle for Hill 3234 in Afganistan. Here is a link to the wikipedia for the actual battle. Battle for Hill 3234Dennis |

It really is about time we had another WWII blockbuster Deano Brad Pit has been filming a new WWII film called 'Fury' on farmland near my mums house in Oxfordshire. From what I've seen it looks like it might be watchable. They've used the restored Tiger I from the Tank Museum and some warbirds too. That said, I'm sure there'll also be plenty of CGI too. Due out November '14 |

Im not a big Brad Pitt fan, but if its WWII, ima damn sure see it! We need some great 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Band of Brothers' type WWII action movies. |

I just made quite the find. The entire "White Tiger" movie, which is another Russian war movie. Not sure of the legality of it but it is on youtube, so I guess if the makers had a problem with it they would take it down? White Tiger |

Finally got the chance last night and it was well worth the watch , best war film I have seen in a while |
