Recent Builds

Hi Folks, Here are my last two builds. The first is a 'Dust' Jagdluther walker, which was my first model in over 15 years. It was a really enjoyable build, and an awakening to airbrushing and pigments.






The second is a work in progress, very adventureous for my second build. A bit of a 'what-if' of an A'Stan type environment, depecting the entrance to a hill-top site (R-0423). Everything shown, is scratch build which whilst not up to the standard of may, brings me great pleasure (especially the MARS Sangar, HESCO Cages and Alaska Wall sections. (the dio will feature two Panda M-ATV's a Cromwell Cougar and a host of Legend and Evolution figures with loads and loads of Live Resin hardware. As i said a work in progress,but any comments are most welcome.

Folks, many thanks indeed for positive comments.

I am preparing some photos and write-up, and will start a brief WIP, to get me up to this point. Mind you, just revieved two Panda M-ATV's, so am a little distracted !.

Hey Chris that `walker` is bloody superb fella..................and looks like i weren`t the only one to get caught out with the second project ...........................i thought the same as Boo (((LOL))

Still loads of work on the hilltop entrance 'modelfreak72' to make it a little more 'operational'. Will include:- coiled razor wire, IR beacon/snow poles to identify the perimeter edge, a boom barrier, some small concrete bollards, storage boxes/barrels and general rubbish. The MARS Sangar will also have an EO sensor suite, comms antanne, partial rocket cage and remote weapon station. So a bit more to do !.

Boots, the walker was so much fun to build. Very little clean up for a resin set, so got straight into building it. Probably had about 25/30 parts in total, with some scratch bits and pieces. A real good kit to get back into the groove.
