Now I'm not the greatest of figure painters, but this one serves a purpose I guess. Anyway this is from one of the Meng 1/35th Pick-up's. Just thought I'd knock it together over a few evenings. PMC's are Private Military Contractors. The figure is carrying a Barrett M107 0.5 semi-automatic Anti-material rifle. I'm not sure about the water bottles, but well he don't want to get dehydrated do he? I used Tamiya Smoke for the lenses of the shades. Thanks for looking. Cheers Daz

Right I want to add a combat knife to the figure. Would he carry one? And where would it be worn? As it would have to be in easy reach.

Nicely done Darren! He's got a very self-confident look about him with the hardware he's carrying.

PMC? Wasnt that "Plastic Modelers Club" or something?! Good one. Maybe not perfect, yes, but imho Ive seen tons of worse figures. And modelers who called that "perfect". Just keep on painting, and youll get better and better. This one, Sir, shows that youre on a good way!

This one, Sir, shows that youre on a good way! I have to agree with tigrazor, keep at it and have fun, that's the main thing. You really wouldn't want to see my old work, too spooky, many moons ago. You got the basic down pat, so just refine your techniques and ask questions when you run into a jam, we're here to help any way we can. Great work Daz, sorry for the late post. Cheers, Ski.
