I would use a plastic tube and make 4 cuts and then bend it the way I want it.

I'd go with the kit barrel if it plastic. Like Tobias said, make the six cuts, then with very low heat ( inscense stick) gently bend each section. Use the hobby knife to then do the jagged edges.
