Hi there. Christmas is over - and due to a X-Mas swap from another forum and because of the much too eraly sudden death of a modeler Im facing two new model projects, besides the ones running atm. I tend to rethink the "to-do-list" and put some more time in researches af the 35(t) for example. Project No.1 - the X-Mas gift:A 1/1 replica of "Mals Weapon" from the steampunk series "Firefly". Beatiful weapon, and its supposed to be part of the equipment of the Steampunk outfit I own: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefly_%28TV_series%29I got this weapon already: The complete outfit: Project No. 2 - the Roman officerFirst of all, my historical knowledge of the Romanian Empire is almost Zero. It will be fun to paint, and as you can see, the figure features tons of single parts - all made from white metal! - but Ill need your help maybe, and probably theres some books, magazines and sites to be read through. Its a very ambitious project of course and in some way a honor, additionally. The modeler was a very gifted one and therefore it'd be no good if the figure would get a simple treatment. Sneak peek into the box: Not so easy... Whats your opinion?! Lucas.

I wanna see you dressed up as Mal. Than paint the Roman. That's one series (Firefly) I can watch over and over. I have it on disc, watch a few, or the movie, every time the wife has a girls' night, unless I'm watching "Walking Dead", depends if I want something funny or not.....
