WHAAAAAAAAT?! They stole my idea! Where can you order this? What does it/do they cost (if there is more than one figure from GoT)? Why isnt the figurine completed yet?

Very cool project, looking forward to this one! When you say in anticipation of another part of the novel, do you mean there's a new volume on the way in the series? If so, I've been sooooo hoping he would actually complete the series instead of just using the TV vehicle to 'finish' the story line. Hmmm...looks like 2015 is when the next book is 'scheduled' to be released...we'll see! www.goodreads.com/book/show/12111823-the-winds-of-winter

Dont know about American TV. Here in Germany, episodes I&II are available on DVD. Episode III was running in pay TV some weeks ago and if I heard that right, episode IV is supposed to be released in spring 2014.

Season III has already aired here in the US and Season IV is on schedule for early 2014. I'm talking about Book 6 in the novels in terms of availability in 2015...or not, depending on Martin's ability (or lack thereof!) to deliver written works on time...of course the progression of the TV series does put some pressure on him but not that much.

Thanks guy’s for checking this out and for support. Quality of the figures sold now from Spain is ridicules. It took me a long time to prep this figure and it isn’t perfect. Some things should be re-sculpt entirely but that would take me way to long and it’s not worth the effort. But I did move the work forward and will post an update shortly.

A lovelly subject, can't wait to see the next steps. However, why are you so dissapointed by the quality of Spanish figurines? Have a excellent beginning of this New Year!

nicusi - The standard isn't as it used to be. I had countless new figurines made in Spain this past year in my hands. Unfortunately around 90% is of quality that would be good or great 10 or 15 years ago. But it's not up to today's standards. For several years you could buy Spanish figures which maybe weren't cheap but there were magnificently sculpted and casted. Now days the cost is high as it used to be but the quality drooped and not only that the castings are poor but the sculpts look like it's still work in progress. I do hope this will change as they tend to chose great topics. Cheers

Hi Biskup, Thanks for your explanations regarding the recent quality of Spanish figurines! Just received something from Asociacion Alabarda that I liked as sculpture and casting in metal, I'm gonna to attack it after finishing other 2 figurines waiting on my workbench. Hope to like when its time will come! I noticed a little change comparing with classic movie costumation (the green used, by the way what are you using to paint?), just waiting to see what's next. Very nice untill now! Especially the face is amazing! Keep it on! Cheers, Nicolae

Thank you my friends. nicusi - I'm going for the book description and movie look as much as I can. The green trousers were and accident and they were corrected I just finished the wet on wet part of painting on the overcoat and I did correct the trousers. I will post some pictures as soon as it all dries up. Cheers

Very impressive, Biskup. I'm curious how you'll finish the blade, I have some doubts about the light under the top of blade, but maybe the angle of photography doesn't help me too much. Cheers! Nicolae

Hi Biskup! A well done scene, my warm congratulations. Very difficult colours to work, black and white. The cloak is for me an hard test and you've got such an amazing result. If I can well notice, you used too some green. Could you give some details about the painting process? I'm particulary interested. Cheers! Nicolae

Hi nicusi and thank you for your kind comment I'm not really sure what do you mean about the green color as I didn't use one at all. Cheers Lukasz

Hi Lukasz!
The last three photos let me this impression. Under the white of wolf, the gants and the left side of ribs of Jon are some nuances of yellowish green. Maybe it's for the lamp used, reflection of the light,I don't know. Cheers! Nicolae

wbill76 - Thank you nicusi - The entire figure (except: eyes metallic parts and most of the base) was painted using oil paints. The vest was painted using mix of Brown Van Dyke and Raw Umber and it was highlighted with the use of Ochra. The green vibe is because of the composition of the colors on the photo. There is no green there I can assure you
