Hey, wadda ya want for 11 bucks Consider it a silk purse/ Sows ear thing. The prooooblem is that you can find DML braille kits for 6-8 bucks! That being said, obviously their selection is limited. But WOW, man - that's a big mold seam! I agree Buddy, and I have you to thank for helping me increase my stash of older DLM stuff. This one caught my eye and was a little different. I will overcome the seam.

Hahaha...I'm sure you will! I just don't deal that well with stuff like that despite a lot of older/not "state of the art" kits in my stash. Shoot, puttying and sanding is probably my most-lacking modeling skill.

As far as the older DLM stuff goes, it is state of the art IMHO.

Oh, I don't mean those kits at ALL! More like Alan, ICM, old Monogram, etc. etc.
I'll dig one out some time soon and we'll see what happens. Hehehe.

Seamectomy is a success. Before And after I left the hood seam. It is hinged in the middle. I also have the wheels ready for primer, but I figured you Guys didn't want to see the world famous "Wheels on toothpicks" photo

Dicky, I owe all my creativity to you My friend, don't blame me blame Boots, It's hard to beat the old wheels on a stick pic. Velvet Cod-piece you say? You're right that is pretty smooth, but it's been so cold that I need something warmer. I'm thinkin' about hitting Phil up for another Muskrat pelt.

New strategy - I CAN buy 1/72 ICM kits, I just need to send them to you first to remove any offending seams...

A new piece of paper down, some chassis parts, What more can you ask for? A few things I've found out about this kit. The sprues are not numbered so you have to go back and forth with the instructions to make sure you get the right parts, instructions are not that clear, and so far none of the parts fit into each other. They just touch each other making it hard to keep things aligned while your glue sets. Anyway, most of the chassis is done. I will prime this and then add the diff. and drive shafts, then prime those. The axles are in place to keep the rear and front end housings aligned. So we are on our way
