I'm Stefano, from Padova (Italy), For the first,Happy New Year to all! Well,I'm a modeler and my passion are the AFV in 1/35,with the preference for the German Tanks-hunters (type Marder I-II-III) and some types of half-tracks.In this week-end I shall start to build the kit of the Marder II-ausf D (by Bronco) and for this I have found here one topic/wip that I shall study with many interest. If this is possible,I shall post some considerations during the "job" For the moment, this is all..:-) With my compliments for Your Forum Stefano

Oh,many thanks for your wellcome! Yes,for me the Marders are one very interesting type of veicles ,and these models are a bit "family" near the great series of German tanks ( Panther,Tiger, qnd so on). In absolut all models are fine;the problem is that it's impossible "to build all!"..:-) @wbill76-The topic-wip of Marder II-ausf D (kit Bronco) is Your. Great job! Only I don't know why,in this kit,the engine is "missing in action"!..:-(

Benvenuto Stefano, felice di vedere un altro compatriota in questi lidi (for non italian speakers: Welcome Stefano, glad to see another fellow italian here) I think you already found there are lots of german AFV fans here, with some masters among them. Sit back, have fun, and share your work whenever you want

I think the reason Bronco didn't include it is down to the simple fact that they didn't include it in their Pz II D kit that was released before this one and which they based the Marder II D kit on in terms of common/shared molds. Bronco sometimes picks and chooses what types of added detail they will or won't include on their kits. The limited ability to display the Marder II D hatches 'open' to show off the engine was probably a factor too but who knows? Glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes these types of vehicles.
