((LOL))............CB i can assure ya that were`nt the case, you know i`m always up for a challenge but this was rather more weighing up the odds of damage over styling!!, it`s just not possible at this stage without breaking stuff!!.................plus i got a ferkin` shed load of fiddly stuff to fabricate yet any way Bill.........yeah `e ain`t far away, it`s all very well turning up at his door but i`ve heard he keeps the grass long for quick evasive action............you`d never find him fella , cheers Bill I was trained by the Ferkawe tribe!!!!!

CB's a dangerous force, no question about it, but to keep him away just nail an AB to your door! Nice progress there Boots, the front fender looks sharp.

Thanks very much fellas......most kind Ok a brief U/D (little acorns and all that....) The handlebars have been scratched and also the bar mounts......these were made using some 2mm rod kindly sent to me in a rescue/supply drop from me good buddy Dicky ..........cheers very much mucka!! I wanted them nice and wide as in the reference pics below.....the grips are the kit ones, i drilled out the end of the 2mm rod and then inserted a smaller diameter rod to accommodate the grips themselves Here`s a coupla shots of the real deal...... FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLYThis first pic is the design i used.... and another... You can see just how wide those bad boys are!! Here`s my efforts, need more work yet but the basic shape is there!! Next up is the engine...........some paint has been applied, the carbs fitted and i made up some new style air filters using some 1/35th mines from Dickys parcel The exhaust is now done and i have added the Alclad Sepia/Violet and Blue to the downpipes (first time i`ve used them!!)......might need to adjust but most will be hidden behind the lower engine cowl The radiator and fan..... Still got loads to do on the engine (including running some more Alclads Chrome.......the top engine pics shows an area i missed slightly!!)..............thanks for looking chaps

Soz fellas.....t`aint a great deal but once again the time put in for such a little amount and all that.......!! I needed to make up a small lower cowl and discard the side ones to allow the engine to be visible a bit more.........the trouble was....this being an oldish kit (1999..i think!!) some of the parts are moulded as one (i.e......the side and lower cowl!!).....unlike some of the newer GP kits etc!! I roughly marked where i needed to be and then masked it orfe to give a straight edge for cutting............only issue was was the curvature and the raised parts where the engine resides!!............so....an hour later and some very delicate cutting, sanding and shaping i ended up with this! Before..... You can see what i mean as it runs right under the bulbous part.. The final result....... The grooved area was cut away to match the other side and balance the shape out........ A dry run to check all is hunky dory..... Next up i decided to make a start on the dials...........ok so i`ve already nabbed some 1/35th mines for the air filters so i thought why not use some 1/35th German headlights!!! The bezel is just the right shape and with a bit of wiring should look ok scale wise............i`ll fill in the grooves and then add some dial decs!! Thats about it really.......s`funny the thread above me is like the Bentley Continental of the modeling world, thats gotta be the most gorgeous Horny Davison to come out of a box............and there`s me trying to please with this little lot More destruction than a ferkin` World war!!! Cheers folks..........till the next trickle of progress
