Weird.........ya pic of the pub came thru 24hrs later!!

I've decided that this build is ferkin` jinxed!!! , after the painting/masking fopar yesterday i decided to finish a bit earlier from work so`s i could get a coat of primer down ready for the paint session this evening...........success.....no rain so the bodywork has been redone

THEN I WENT AND FERKIN` DROPPED THE WHOLE FERKIN` THING!!!!!!!!! .

I`m getting soooo tempted to shelve this bassa till another time i gotta say!!!............ , so this evenings little session is repair time instead of paint time!!!.............thankfully it is superficial damage and nothing to worry about.............

((LOL))........yeah i hear ya fella, i remember going to my sisters`s 50th down in Salisbury.......middle `o` ferkin` nowhere(bit like your pub!!) and she`s a full vegan , everything was either ferkin` wrapped in leaves, made of rice or full of tomato ferkin` puree!!!!!!!!! ..........don`t go down that route mate ..........ya not a vegan are ya !!

Yikes Boots! This build is indeed suffering more than its sure of misfortune. Hopefully you can repair it without too much trouble. I hear tomato puree does wonders for bonding parts when applied correctly...

Boots, i feel awful for ya havin so much difficulty with this build. So many emotions i felt while reading the last couple pages. One second i have sympathy for your build struggles then 3 post later im laughin my arse off......im so confused!!!

OK a very brief update as i`m gonna hit the sack...

After re-smoothing/sanding/filling from my previous poor attempts and trying to rush things along i`ve managed to get the next stage of the paintwork sorted...........this is part of the base coat and i`ts a colour i mixed myself into a Bronze/copper colour, this will be the start and most of it will not be seen so don`t worry if ya thinking WTF














Still got the frame/forks/wiring/lighting (front and rear)/handlebar-grips and various other bits to contend with yet, then i can get to final finish

Jeff......`erm, dunno what to do really!!!!, i`m just making this up as i go along fella coz plan A didn`t work..................and i didn`t have a concrete plan B , the Green over the top will be darker than the engine parts coz thats over white.....this will be going over a darker base!!, so i`m gonna mask orfe what i need for the bronze/copper colour and then very lightly go white with primer on the rest first..........that way the green will look nice and bright .......i `ope!! , this thing is scrapping worse than hook caught Marlin!!

Soz for the late update.......but there ain`t one!!!

I`m pulling this outta the loop for a few weeks........i wasn`t happy with the finish of the bronze colour and decided to re-do it, after the coat of primer went on it reacted with the metallic colour and has got too be completely stripped back...........i ain`t ferkin` doing it right now.
Ferk knows why it reacted as i`ve not had it happen before .........i`ve boxed her up in tissue and i`ll pick this up again very soon!, i just need to walk away from this one for a bit coz it`s killing my mojo..........i wouldn`t mind but i`ve just started the headlight set up and was three quarts finished on it!! , she will be finished but i`d rather put her somewhere safer than in the palms of my hands!!......once i get the enthusiasm to scrub this back i`ll be back on it.

In the meantime......

Ok.......i`ve got an unexpected day orfe tomorrow so i`m gonna try and get this stripped this evening.........the weather is supposed to be ok tomorrow which means i can get her re-primed ready to go again, fingers crossed i might be back in full flow once more

Ok i`ve had this soaking in ISO for the past two hrs and it has been scrubbed back to kit plastic using a fine nylon brush........just need to go over the whole thing with some fine micro mesh and i should be good to go mucka
