Nice pair of newly acquired items Dennis...other than them both being SPGs, no idea what you've got cooking but it smells good!

Sooo. New year, new luck. Finally the brand new ICM Austro-Hungarian soldiers are on the market. I waited for those very long, finally my "War & Peace" diorama can be continued. 8€ and every every detail of the figures is hyperrealistic! If youre looking for excellent WW1 figures - those are the ones! Im a bit fed up with SciFi stuff atm. That doesnt mean that I wont continue the MadCat and the drone, but I think its time for a completely different subject. And thats where these figures play a certain role: Just a few hints for the project: >Its German >Its a bit old-fashioned... >its a model category of which I build veeeeery seldom! >its CULT CULT CULT!!! More soon...

Wow!!! Didn't realise you could still get Ye Olde Campus Friends set...they're cool eh? The ICM A-P soldiers look superb too, be nice if they follow it up with a bigger WW1 range - when I built my Rolls Royce I struggled to find anything decent in styrene and had to go down the resin route...I know MB have a set planned with the wounded/prisoner but it's a sadly under-represented era, more so, when you consider it's the centenary! Thanks Dicky. I dont know if this is a re-issue or a leftover that I might have overseen in the shop. Anyways - I looked for it on several expos, shops etc, but couldnt find it. When I saw it today it was a "must have". I guess the Russians of WWI are next, at least theres a Maxim MG from ICM there. It was the same with the Austro-Hungarians: First the equipment set, then the figures. Does anyone know if they bring a new German set btw? The old one isnt bad, too, but Im just curious.

I am led who-knows-where by who-knows-what, I just build whatever kit yells the loudest!!! Cheers, Sam

This beauty showed up today... I've always been a big fan of the Hellcat and its "shoot-n-scoot" style. This one looks far better thought out than the last AFV Club kit I tackled...

Apart from buying wood, screws and glue, I did some modeling shopping: LC thinner, OD and 4BO modulation sets, some hornet heads and a small package of magic sculpt.

I got this kit in the stah Doogs and it seems a nice kit, but you'd do well to get some Fruils for it. My kit tracks (rubber band) are not useable at all, so i got me a set of Fruils about 3 years ago. Still need to build it.......someday. Nice goodies to all ye gentlemen!

Noted on the Friuls!
Anybody know if there's an aftermarket muzzle brake for this? Would one from another 76mm thingy (upgunned Sherman, etc) work? Like the kit's metal barrel, but not a fan of the bisected brake...

So let me get this straight, you bought wood, screws, glue, thinner, OD & 4B0 paint, hornet heads, and some magic sculpt...that must mean you've got some Franken Russkie projects coming!
