Something different this time... something that will make you smile or chuckle. My awesome wife got me for Valentine's Day... know its little early. ' Believe it or not it was delicious. Walmart sells those... they did a great job... suspect its late WWII German camo?

My latest addition is a PK-PRO Miniature holder. DSC_3999 by TonyThunder, on Flickr I'm trying to improve my figure painting and I'm forever rubbing paint off of the figure I'm painting through excessive handling so when I saw one of these I had to give it a go. DSC_4001 by TonyThunder, on Flickr It is a very comfortable in the hand and the bar can be rotated through 360 degrees. DSC_4005 by TonyThunder, on Flickr You simply fit a pin to the figure and the Cork is semi split and tapered so that you push it in to the ceramic base which tightens around the pin and sits securely in the base. To remove you just push the cork out through the bottom. Not cheap at 18 euro's but does seem to have been well thought out and I definitely have a use for it. It comes in two sizes 54mm (pictured) and a smaller 30mm. DSC_4012 by TonyThunder, on Flickr Company website is hereI have no connection other than being a satisfied customer. T That's a great idea Tony. Of course being from Yorkshire I'll never buy one BUT what I do have are (a) plenty of corks and (b) some wire coat hangers. Might try and knock myself similar something up Smudge

Really don't know if I could eat a green cake. Maybe red, but the green doesn't look too appealing! LOL

Oooooooh... Thats top notch! I saw a pink M16 in a weapon shop and thought it would be cool (for females of course) - but a camo cake? Thats really different!

JUST received my 1/16 SU-100 today! That's only 2 days after paying for it! Unbelievable I tell you and my best Valentines present ever! (at least to me that is) My weekend should be filled now. I will R/C this kit because I have another T-34/76 that I can build the interior in that. This thing is STUNNING! Glad I have all the electronics for it... and my poor KV-122 will just have to wait to be R/C'd. Now... what to work on? Pictures at eleven. Jeff

You've been waiting for it for a while Jeff, nice score! I have, haven't I? Pretty sad though... I was in my fourties when it was first announced. Now at 53 I finally get it. And Jeff... I didn't say which day at 11:00 did I? LOL I think it should be built in sections and not all at one time. That's where I get burnt out. Jeff

What have I got? A phone call from my SWMBO with loads of (virtual) hugs and kisses - we wont see each other until next week. Worth more than all the modeling stuff.

Being rather restrained so far this year; I' ve now picked this up ( from BLAST) for 10 euro 60; that's around $15 or £9 ! Some of the pics are on the small side for determinimig detail -but a useful collection of some rather interesting stuff. Plenty of inspiration. Also got about a dozen or so various sized resin wheels (useful for spares/dressing/debris etc.) for a couple of more quid. Happy days. - just don't tell Mrs H P

Cool collection of stuff Chris, I too had a little gain on the stash front today at the Yeovil show, Don't think that the Achzarit will stay in the stash too long! Met up with Chris (ceebee) & Dicky there and chewed the fat, great to meet up with you chaps. Just had a fantastic birthday steak dinner and a few beers so am now relaxing with a full belly and some fine modelling here on MSC!

How do all, I picked this up from a trader that comes to our monthly meetings, being a huge Ironman fan I had to do a happy happy foot dance thingy. I'm thinking off getting the other in the series to cut up for a bust. mack
