I do have a full scratched cutaway of one of our 'Sleek Black Messengers of Death' planned for the FAR FAR future - probably in 1/48 scale - stay tuned, at least for a decade or so ok bud? Reaaaaaaaaalllllllly...do NOT let me miss that thread! Which boat are you shooting for? Oh. This will go very will with my "large project" (also quarter scale) which is in the opening stages right now.

Over six feet in 1/48 - that's a big sub!

This is some year you are working on.

Don't worry Wingy, it's not on you - I've got so many going right now I can't blog them all...or they'd never get done. Heck, that's half the reason I'm getting so much done - completely ignoring the camera and just building! I'll try to put together a list of all of my current WIPs and shelf queens and things-from-the-stash-that-are-telling-me-to-build-them-sooner-rather-than-later so you don't get surprised next time around.

Better warn you now...number 10 will be going up later today (when the camera comes back home with the wife). Do a google image search for "star wars probot".

Hoooo boy has it been a while since I updated this. Got pics up of everything I finished since MSC closed down in May, including a couple I wrapped up last week. Just need to get the 234/1 in the booth tonight and I'll put up a shot of that as well. #22 and #23 on the bench now!

Sounds like you've got the factory back in good order there Dupes! What's your revised target for 2014?

Bill - I'm getting there! Assuming that I'm actually done with this whole pneumonia thing (it's been almost two months already ) I don't think I'd have any problem hitting 35 or 40 depending which builds I focus on. I've been stuck on the couch for weeks and am FIRED UP TO BUILD!

Don't forget I will be in Maine... in two days! Hope you are going to Armorcon for sure? Two days? Damn! Do you have a complete itinerary (with any free time)? As far as Armorcon, I was just talking to Boyd about that yesterday. Unfortunately I'm still not over the pneumonia thing (as I was just discussing with Bill). I'm REALLLLY hoping I ditch this in the next few days. In my current state, there's no way I can make the 450 mile drive to or from Danbury...definitely not enough energy for that. So my status is offically "up in the air". Kinda sucks. A lot. Seems like this is going to be a full-blown MSC get together, and I'd hate to miss that. Will provide updates as I can!

Ouch! Nasty... no fun fighting pneumonia as it is worse than fighting bronchitis which I get sometimes. Hope you feel better SOON! My schedule is pretty tight as originally I was supposed to have one and half day free between two conferences but it has been cut to only half day now.
Will send you an email with more details when I have the chance.

Fabulous work, Dupes. Surprisingly enough, and aside from the SciFi stuff, I think the 232 is my fav. The finish is sublime.

Number 22 is on the board! Bit o' pre-show slamma jamma (what am I talking about???). Nothing but weathering for 24 hours straight. Tamiya kit OOB, btw. Colors seem REALLY washed out in this pic - can anyone tell what the camo colors are?
