It's does not matter if it's enamel or acrylic based. I am not asking whats the "BEST", just looking for your experiences and preferences I will building all types of genres - Armour, Wingys, Floaties, and what ever else I can find Any tips on finishing Russian Armour is greatly appreciated. Thank You in Advance -Steven

Hello Steve, I have an article from Mike Rinaldi that states that In his opinion, Lifecolor's Dark Green (UA 001) is the best match for 4BO Green. I personally havent used it, but i take Mike's advise to heart. Might be a good paint to try Steve. Good luck fella, Gary

The question is what green?
4BO was used before 1946, then it became another hue of green.
For 4BO I have used a mix of two tamiya tones, AK modulation set and now I have just got lifecolor's dedicated set. In my eyes the perfect one is the LC one.
For post war tanks I use Nato green as a correct match, but a friend of mine told me the perfect one should be vallejo's Russian Green.

I am building a few of those PST 1/72nd scale kits. I just finished the BA-20 Armored car, and currently building the ZiS-6 Truck.
Would I use LC's 4B0 or Vallejo's Russian Green?
Thank You for pointing out LC's dedicated set, I will definitely be ordering that when I get enough money, as I will be building a ton of Russian stuff in 2014.
Thanks Again for the insightful replies,
-Steven
