Cheers guys, here's the model with the decals on and almost all of the detail painting done. The light bars and side indicators will get some tamiya clear colours added later on. Just need to paint the tow rope now and sort out something for the rear bin
Very nice Pete - lookin' good with the stickers in place and a great solution to the moulded lights - can't beleive I haven't thought of that method before....I always go with the flat colours and put a Gloss coat on top, reckon your way will look better
If yer think yer one in a million, chances are, YOU AIN'T!
Here's the model now with a little bit of chippage added using lightened base colours and vallejo 822 german camo black brown. The tow rope has had a coat of citadel boltgun metal too. I've also made up a bin bag and chocks to go in the rear basket. The chocks are seen in most pictures when these things are parked up so I thought they would add a splash of colour to the model. Figures have also been made up with a change of arms on one figure and a slight adjustment of limbs on the other, Oh and their legs chopped off! It's now ready for some oil weathering but this will have to wait a week or two as I'm off on holiday tomorrow
Not much has been done to the model since my last update but it's now had some oil fading on the turret, more to do on the hull. And a pin wash and filter. This one's going to be fairly clean apart from mud and dust on the lower hull so I don't want to change the colours too much with the weathering.
Im going to also add some streaks etc later on

Thanks guys. I've now completed all the oil and filter weathering. For the dusty look I took AK dust effects and thinned a small amount even more then brushed this onto all the flat surfaces. As it was drying a dry brush was used to remove some of the filter. I'm pretty pleased with the result. Next up will be some dusting on the lower hull and wheels with the airbrush.
WOW, seems I just about missed the whole thing Pete...sorry, one of these days I will get me head screwed on right!! Fantastic work on this one!! Youd did a fine job on the camo my friend and the weathering is really looking great!!!
