I added the start and end dates to my sticky thread above. I figure Feb 1st until the end of Dec. should be good.
Because of the time diff I think we can already start the GB. I will start my thread and entry soon

A great idea Deano, and one that most definitely is to be remembered.
If I have time I will join in, got a couple of biplanes in the stash, but there is a few bits of artillery that have grabbed me in the past.......... there goes my shopping embargo rant lol

Hi guys sorry I have been neglecting this thread .....been moving house and stuff so my minds been else where . Remember you can build anything in any scale to do with WWI as long as its Military based , vehicles of any nature , figures , planes and ships/boats . The GB is open now so you can start whenever you are ready .... as soon as I have cleared my feet I will get my entry up and running

You know technically the first tank wasn't used by the British in battle till 1916 so we could hold a WWI Tank GB in 2016, then Gary could join in. Cheers, Thom

Not big and 'busty' and much smaller than Young's stuff but Tommy's War is worth a check as they do some stunning resin figs Andy I'm gonna paint a zuchini (courgette) like a zeppelin! +++AAAA on the Tommy's War figs. Some of the best 54mm WWI figs out there. I have a review item on it's way and I will enter that and do the build/paint review at the same time. Might also later in the year do a biplane. I think I'll start a list in the opening thread of who is building what !!!

I think I'll start a list in the opening thread of who is building what !!! +1. I think that should be done with EVERY GB! Heck, back when I was an FSM regular, that was half the fun of running a GB was posting up the rosters, all of the badass finished builds, etc. etc. Not that that should fall on you, Rob - unless you're the instigator for this one? Don't remember.

lol wasn't me who started that Marc, but I agree it should be done with all the GB's from now on. If everyone posts here what they will build then I can add it to the list.

Looked everywhere and I don't think somebody makes a figure bust of US doughboy in 1/9 or 1/10. Young Miniature doesn't as they only have Brit and German. Any suggestion? Try looking at some of our other sponsors...Mitches Mil Models, Dolman Min., Sockel & Bases,Pathos etc etc. If you need the web addresses let me know.
