The Great War - WWI
Start/end dates:
Feb.1st 2014 - Dec. 31st 2014
This is the sub-board for the Great war GB.
The GB is open to all genre as long as it fits into the Great War (WWI) theme. You can enter as many models as you would like. Please start your own thread(s) for your build, and do not add yours to another members thread.

Ok fella's , finally made a choice on what Im building for this GB ...........   They are ordered and on the way .... moving house next Friday so doubt I will get it started for a while yet  |

I heard a whisper that a new 1/35 Mark IV might be available soon. Just a rumour but if true I'd like to jump aboard, if it's in time.

JT that might be worth me buying, if true. About 7 years ago I built all the Ehmar WWI tanks on commission, would be nice to build a new kit. The GB runs until the end of the year so you have plenty of time to join in.

Rob, thank you for the list of companies that makes 1/9 and 1/10 busts. I contacted them and few of them replied... they have something about US WWI dough boy in future and asked me to check with them again. Right now I am seeing only Europeans mostly Brit and German busts...
So right now I will wait and see if somebody comes out with American bust. It is my personal goal to do a full range of US soldier busts in "evolution" phase starting at WWI to present... please do not hesitate if you ever see a bust of American doughboy in 1/9 or 1/10.

Some years back I had the idea of doing a WWI trench with all you can imagine. But Germans, US Boys and GB soldiers fighting together against a demon roaring through the trench. Could look not bad but the helluva work here. Thanks God, the GB is closed...
