I would use masking tape: Doubled so it won't stick and then just cut tinny strips and fix with ca glue....My two cents.

That's too bad Bud. Just make sure it's the real foil and not the plastic stuff. There is a plus to all this though. You need to buy more wine.HA

Hey, did I miss this? When I did military service at the Bundeswehr, this was my working horse: tiny, loud, slooooooooow and dirty. A snail with tracks.

Afternoon fellas,i want to make some web grab straps. So far i tried thin styrene strips, ribbon which frayed after i cut it and thread which is way to small.Failed at all attempts.Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have you tried small stripes of lead? Wine bottles feature it - works well. Paper or Tamiya tape works fine here, too. Btw - the interior color looks like the real thing! A bit washing here and there - and there you go (as far as I can remember, the M113 was always dirty inside).

Well... I made some lessons on her to get some practice with small tanks. But thats it. I loved the Leopards (2A5) and SPzs that our Infantry Btl and the Artillery Btl had far more (SPz "Fuchs") - but wasnt allowed to drive them. Youll be surprised how easy it will be with the Tamiya tape. Just make sure you paint the stripes before you trim them - thats a bit easier. And of course theyre a bit sticky, so its very easy to create a grab strap. Good luck!
