Nice and tight, Leon. If I dare hazard a guess, I'd say the Academy and Tamiya kits are close enough that one would be able to cross over with interior sets...I've done it with stuff made for Tamiya going into Dragon and gotten away with it
Regards, Mark

Looks like I got here too late - when I was building this one a while back, was told (by someone "in the know") that the big cells on the back of the chassis wouldn't be there for an A2 model...only an A3. Might not matter to you, but if it does I can dig out my notes.

Hey Leon, no paint yet? A little disappointing, isn't it? The M113 is an all-time classic. There were a lot of them in the barracks where I used to play as a child. Cheers, Tobi

Pow! Leon's rockin' through another one! Nice start, lookin' good. I'm pretty sure the Academy kit is one of those early straight knock-offs of Tamiya kits, so parts should actually interchange between the two, which means to me that an interior kit for the Academy '113 ought to drop right into the Tamiya unit. About the only differences I know of are the lack of poly caps in Academy's sprockets and idlers, but I haven't seen a recent tooling from Tamiya (llike the kit you're building) so say if even that's still true. Gawd, I'm long-winded.....
