I haven't been happy with MM gloss coat. Doesn't seem to leave much gloss after spraying. I picked up a bottle of Vallejo Gloss Varnish. I've never used Vallejo's paints or varnish. Looking for any insights how to best use these through the AB. Thinning ratios, compressor pressures, etc. Any experiences will be appreciated. Thank you. Rick

They make a few different kinds,if you have the Acrylic Resin Gloss Varnish 70.510 ,I shoot it straight with no problems,I like along with the flat also 70.520

Thanks Tojo, I am using the 70.510 and this morning tried to shoot it straight. It completely clogged the air brush. I added the Thinner Medium and that helped some but still to thick. Will need to try again with a different ratio.
Bottle says if can be thinned with water. Anyone gone his route? Since it's acrylic, has anyone tried Tamiya or Model Master acrylic thinner?
Thanks, Rick

No problem Tojo. I appreciate your feedback. I'm sure it's a matter of finding the right combination of all the parts and practice since I've not use Vallejo prodicts before.

Whatever you do DONT mix Tamiya thinners with Vellejo paints, It will clog your airbrush up and create an icky mess Tamiya paints are a lacquer acrylic and Vallejo aren't so only use Vallejo's own thinner or water I often use Vallejo's satin, mat and gloss lacquer and mix with their own thinners in at least a 50/50 mix Los
