You know it's funny. Have you been following Thom's build thread of His 60mm Mortar Carrier? Not to make you feel bad but that's a 1/72 Ace kit also and it looks like a sweet little kit.

Oh yeah I did notice that , seems to be a hit or miss with these kits , just hope the next one is better.

Ok well I have looked through the other 8 ace kits in the stash and this one is the worst . Just my luck to cut my teeth with the donkey kit lol infact some of the detail on the other kits are as crisp as Dragon ...nice!

That's good Man. Too bad the quality seems to vary so much from kit to kit cause they have some interesting subjects.

As far as I am concerned you deserve an award for tackling this kit Deano! If it hadn't been such a great subject I would have chucked it by now or made it in a dio where it was destroyed. LOL

Thanks for the support with this nasty ole kit , finished the tracks at last so this one can finally move forward ....also managed to get curtains up in my living room today but thats a different story ....anyhoo progress! Hopefully there will be mud and paint before the end of the week

Thanks guys it was nearly curtains for the tracks ..... more progress with adding detail parts to the exterior . All the time is spent on the clean up but slow and steady is good for me ...................... Some parts still need hollowing out but think its easier to attach them first
