After ridiculously long masking session, turret is now painted. A little fixing is needed, but overall i'm happy. After that I can clearcoat it and place decals. It might've taken you a while to get this all done with the masking but buddy.......you frickin' killed it with the results. You're really giving this build the ol' "one-two" in terms of building techniques and realism. Looking forward to the next update bro.

The base is taking shape great. What did you use on the foam for dirt? It looks fantastic!

The base is taking shape great. What did you use on the foam for dirt? It looks fantastic! Thanks! I used ak acrylic paste as a primer coat, followed with vms smart mud paste. Then sprinkled some real dirt and vms terrain textures randomly over it. Last step was a couple of tiles pressed on while mud paste was still soft.

I added VMS to my vendor list for supplies.

Vms stuff is great, only product which I'm not a fan is their glue. It's too thick. Did some roof tiles from foam. Maybe I will do a couple more to add in ground.

You did those.....from foam?? It's easier than it sounds. A thin slice of foam is cutted in lenght and rolled over a sprue. Hardest part is cutting the thin slice, hot wire cutter was a really good tool here.

Wall is now painted in it's final tones. Used a few yello/orange/sandy tones and blended them randomly. After that I added a little contrast with ammo shaders. If you look closely you can see some bird poo.

Some base tones for the groundwork. Next step will be painting grass and all the details in the ground.

It's a surprise how quickly time flies. But better to bea little late than never. Got the tracks painted in dark base color. Later those will be heavily dusted.
