Thanks for the interest! I'm currently sick leave due to flu. Today I was feeling better and assembled the second fender. I really, really want soldering gear! Adjustable soldering station costs about 50€. Solder, flux and other stuff is about 30€. Not bad..

Well worth the investment, you won't be sorry especially given how much PE work you tend to do on your projects.

Thank you! As I said before, I assembled the second fender. I took those shovel pe parts from the spares box. Also started building turret. Barrel is from RB model and co-axial mg is from old dml t-34 kit. Instructions show that mg but it's not included in kit.

Missed the intro! Am definitely with you as I always liked the colors on tanks used during Spanish Civil War... yours is looking great!

Turret and fender #2 are looking good. I'm always amazed at how the crews were willing to go into combat in these guys...but then what they were facing in terms of opposing vehicles weren't any tougher/stronger so I suppose it was a relatively even match-up for the time!

Thanks Bill: That's true. Those things are definetly not the best place to be if something goes wrong.. Same thing with submarines. It's also amazing how little space there is for the crew.

Whaat, is this really a ten yeat old build? Anyway, started my summer holiday and thought that maybe I should try to finish some of the shelf queens. This caught my attention and as this is almost ready to paint, it's a perfect victim. Last details to bogies. Some texture and u-bolt for the leaf springs.

That’s shaping up nicely! Gotta love it when the base paint colors start to go on.

You probably already know this, but I find that yellow goes over a tan base much more reliably.
Amazing camo and build by the way. I'd hate to see any weathering over that paint, but you gotta do what you gotta do lol.

After ridiculously long masking session, turret is now painted. A little fixing is needed, but overall i'm happy. After that I can clearcoat it and place decals.

That's coming on very nicely.... And don't worry about the timespan.... I've recently finished a kit I started 8 years ago!!
