Whoa Nelly! I like this... something different and challenging other than armor or those wingie things! Even at 1/24th scale I bet it's still kinda on the small side, huh? What color is this going to end up sporting? Jeff

Hi Jeff, Well it's still a fair size, in real life the rear rollers were 5ft in diameter with a widthe of 2ft, so in 1/24 2.5 inches dia and 1 inch in width...... Overall height in the region of 10.5ft with a wheel base of nearly 12ft. Will post a picture with a giant hand soon , in the meantime I am hoping this a better pic can't figure out how to post larger image direct on forum ..... Clicking on picture brings to a better size. Paint finish? Those of you of a certain age and from the UK may remember the Dinky version which came either a dark green with red roller or a sort of sky blue with red rollers so will probable go for one of these finishes Oh and these are the detail bits for the drivers compartment when it's painted up

Gordon you need to get some better ref pics. That looks nothing like a Tiger tank.
Seriously sweet job for real bro.

Thanks Dicky, just can't make up my mind on final colour ....... Just not sure if I can pull the sky blue off. Very early days of paint , not intending it to be a rust bucket but it will have a bit of rust and wear & tear ........ But at least it looks as if my clean-up prior to paint was OK

Started the painting, been practicing on the scarifier as it's fairly small ....... Due to the use it gets my reference pics show this bit is always far more worn and rusty than the rest of the roller . Roller is basically going to be blue with white wheels

Still plodding on with this, decided that the roller will have just recently been put out of service ..... Therefore roller surfaces will be rusty, so been experimenting Decided to leave some slight sanding marks on the plastic roller surfaces to add some "texture" then painted with AK rust tones, first dark rust as a solid colour and then progressively lighter , misted on coats of their medium and light coloured rust tones

Thanks for kind comments, I liked the colour I ended up with on the roller surfaces but looking at me reference pics it still lacked texture and variety. So added some paint contrasts and then a sort of speckled addition of pigments then a very light sand ........ Not there yet but think I am happy with the direction
