Not much to say. A dirty old T-34 done strictly with acrylics with no sealer in between layers. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. I was afraid I may have went a little too heavy on the mud. Yup, it's the Dragon kit.

Given the conditions they were operated in and the fact that the fenders, when intact, didn't seem to work that good, I think the mud is entirely appropriate. Personally, I think T-34s are the "Pigpen" of the AFV world.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Rbaer,I agree as I've seen period pics. of some WWII tanks in some very muddy situations. But what I was actually concerned about was the mud hiding the more subtle weathering underneath. But oh well, I had an urge to do a nasty dirty tank....and I had fun. I would still like to do a small base with mud and a little snow. I think the T-34 would feel very much at home there. More so perhaps than a clean white surface.lol

Heavy on the mud? Pretty subjective...if you were going for a dirty, skanky, war-weary T-34, you pulled it off!

I agree with the others, I think you've struck a balance here with an end-of-winter/early-spring T-34 in terms of the whitewash and mud combo.
