Hello,
I just received a note from Komplekt ZIP, that the 1/350 scale steam torpedo boats for Borodino class battleships are being released this week. I will be adding them to my assortment as soon as the final price is known.
Komplekt ZIP's Su-24 nose cone is currently being improved for details, and will be available for restock around end of march (meaning, most likely shippable by the end of april).
I also now allowed the ordering of out of stock items, for many items it was not possible before due to a database flag not being correctly set. Now you can just order whatever you need, and I will order it from the supplier for immediate delivery.

I just received the price data about the Steam boats - a set of two would cost 18.99 Euro. From now on, it can be ordered.

Good news, especially for all the ships modelers on MSC.

I just got to photographing the barge masters. Both 350 and 700 scale ones were printed together. The 350 scale one is 6.5cm long, the 700 scale one is 3.3cm. My research shows exactly same looking barges with minimal size deviations in all european harbors between 1850 and now. Even now, you could spot dozens of such barges in different major ports, like on the Thames or in Hamburg harbour on google maps. Used for coaling the steam ships, dredging works, goods transport around the harbour, etc. These are based on the blueprint plans of a barge ordered by a german port of Emden in 1900 for dredging and coaling work.

The exact layout of the 3d print was done by my 3d printing partner from Moscow. As long as it keeps the prices for printing down by reducing the work area, Im fine with that.

Looks very good. The 3d printing seems to be the way to go now a days.

Definitely. However, the quality is really different, as most 3D printing service providers using the equipment with pretty low resolution, and the prices for printing the same item in different countries are really dramatically apart, with differences up to 40 times for printing the same item in the same quality!
There are also some drawbacks, like minor stepping on the curved deck, which however would go away after resin casting and a coat of primer.
