Revell 1/72 B-17G

I thought all my pictures for this on were gone, but I found them on photobucket, so I'll share.

I don't normally "do" 1/72 anything, but this kit is just killer and I love the B-17. This was my first adventure in AM and I also did some modest scratch work.

    





This aircraft had an engine fire on #4. I tried to replicate with Alclad Smoke....I feel I was a little heavy handed on the staining.

AHHHH! My favorite bomber... the best WWII bomber. You will be hearing from somebody who will disagree with me. I built one when I was very young and I'd love to build another one someday.

Beautiful Fortress you have built! I really like the paint scheme you have chosen... usually I see green or aluminum.

Not really a fan of the Revell kits normally,but this 1/72 kit ain't bad outta the box,from what i've heard,and read.Nice work on this Fort,Jim.

CeeBee, this kit is spectacular. It falls together like a Tamiya kit. The only gripe would be that the panel lines are a little on the heavy side for the scale.
