ok while in waiting for bits for me su-85 i decided i need to get this one started and at least try some rusting.

thanks to bigjohn i bought this, he owes me ;D

with some luck ill be able to pull it off.

So far i have the chassy done Was easy because its my second one of these, I prob could have robed the one thats already painted and jumped the to the body...

Painted the exaust with teh lifecolor rust set dint turn out too bad i think, took a few pics because its so dam long and awkward to get in frame,

Can't beat the LC rust colors Spud. They are the best match for rust that I have used. Looking forward to those pics bro

gona play around with them in a while and see what there like, cant really tell on the exaust

The darker rust is a perfect match for old rust, and by mixing with the other shades you get even more rust tones from the four in the set. I am using the dark rust for the chipping on the M51 right now

im going to have to have a few pratice runs to see whta i can com up with before comiting to the kit. and i have a sherman 105mm turret that will do as a test bed

ok ive had a play about with the rust set and some Ak pigs.

i think ive dumped all ive learnt from watching T and reading what rob has to come up with this and im really happy with the results. next task is to apply this to the ht.
