This in one of the four figures that come in the set #6093 German Snipers. The box art shows him nice and clean (not for me). I made mine look like he has been in the field for a few days/weeks/months and is returning after a good kill. The snow base if made out of a small circular picture frame I found at a local thrift shop. I put foam core board in where the picture stuff was, covered it with Sno-Tex material and then covered that with a thin layer of Alum Powder. Sorry the pictures are so dark, I will try and get some better shots. Shawn

Looking cool Shawn!!! What did you use for the base...look vaguely familiar? ;D Something I need to do soon...start messing with a few figures.

TRM, It is a small circular picture frame I got at the local thrift shop. Cut a circular piece of foam core board to fit (throw away the cardboard and glass). Covered the foam core board with Sno-Tex (I get it at Michael's craft shop) it's a rough snow looking paint. Then added Alum Powder (it's used for pickling stuff) and makes it look like fresh snow. Thanks again TRM, Thanks Dicky, I really like the Sno-Tex, but the alum powder really makes it look like fresh snow. Martyn, Thanks Everyone here says I need to have him looking at a blood trail or footprints? I guess I can do that too. Shawn

Thanks again everyone. Well the guys in my model group told me he needs to be looking at something, so I've added a blood trail (I guess that will be the new name for it it)? Will try and post some new pictures this weekend. Shawn

I guess the name of this one will be "Blood Trail". Here are a couple of the new pictures. I think I will put a new light dusting of snow on top and call it done. Let me know what you think? Shawn
