Ok chaps.
While I still decide the fate of the Mercury, time to get all shiny with something else.
The title says it all really, back soon with a bit more detail...

I do own the 1/12 Chip Foose version. I'm thinking this will be the one you're going to produce? You're close Dominiek, I have the original from 26 years ago! Back soon...

ooo a big-en!! Nice Mence!! Count me in!! Sure is a big one chaps, welcome aboard one and all. For those unfamiliar with the scale, here's the body next to my completed 1/25 DBS Dominiek, I think ya probably correct, wheels and decals for sure but possibly engine parts? This is the 3 in 1 kit so might be a few spares there? Mark, it should be a fun build but due to its scale, getting the paint on the body looking good will take some effort, fingers crossed, of course, I need to decide a colour first and which of the three options to build....

Gonna be a fun build. Like excerco, I've got the Foose 1/12 Camaro too. Already started it. Pretty nice kit. I've been trying to get one of the kits you have too. I'll be watching ;D

Hello chaps, welcome aboard and thank you for following. Dicky, she is indeed on the large side, but that's ok, I read we have two tables to fill at the Lancing show? Ok chaps, it isn't much but here we go, I've stuck two pieces! Not much to laugh about really, I took a look at what potentially might cause most problems (expecting a kit of this age to have a few) and it didn't take long to find a big one... In the engine bay, the top half of the chassis rails is molded separately and it fits where it touches, only problem there is it doesn't touch. So, much dry fitting, filing, cursing, more dry fitting, filling and super gluing has taken place. At one point it was clamped in four different places while I tried to resolve the fit issues! Anyway, three very uninteresting pics follow of progress, it's not pretty but you can see the filler before I continue to clean up then hopefully prime. It's not much to look at but represents five hours to get this far. Moose, you have these problems?

Woooop! It's here. Now I can relax Not yet Jeff, you have work to do fella! Seriously, at this point it's well worth mentioning the great help that our own Jeff has been on this behind the scenes, he has provided valuable resource to assist in my efforts here which has made things a lot more straightforward for me, thank you Jeff. Dicky, two tables is good but I can't be sure this will be finished by the show but I can bring it as a WIP? Back soon chaps, welcome to Ogrejohn and thanks to you other guys for your support, I think I may need it...

looking forward to seeing you do this. watching with interest. joe Well Joe, at the moment, what I want to do is put it in the bin! I forgot how poor 26 year old kits can be. Boots, welcome buddy. I guess it's our lot in life to to do this, perhaps it's some kind of punishment? Dicky, W.I.P. It is mate Anyway, onwards and sideways. More on the chassis today, upper and lower wishbones installed after some cursing. Eventually held in place with Cyano as with normal glue, the ill fitting parts wouldn't hold and sprung apart. After that, slap on loads of primer to cover the horrors... I may have got a small result but the battle is far from won!
