And after the Spitfire is the turn of a kit from a Japanese aircraft. The J2M3 Raiden Hasegawa. Model bought from a friend. The sprues already out of the bag but all complete. The box. The sprues. Decals and transparencies parts. Regards ajcmac

I've always had a soft spot for this stout looking bird. Deal me in.

Nice take on the interiors, AJ. Was the raiden different from other japanese planes? As far as I remember, the interior colour should be a greenish/blue with metallic accents...

Nice take on the interiors, AJ. Was the raiden different from other japanese planes? As far as I remember, the interior colour should be a greenish/blue with metallic accents... Normally follow the instructions unless I be sure with images, the color shown is incorrect. I know that in the beginning most of the Japanese aircraft were painted with Metallic Blue-Green (I think the color was known as Aotake). Example Zero. From the A6M3 interiors were painted green. In KI-61 were either painted green or brown. Tried checking in and all other buildings, except one model, all were painted with green. Then I found this photo of the inside of a Raiden. The interior almost ready. Miss me the seatbelts. I keep waiting for the Eduard PE. Regards ajcmac

Thanks a lot AJ, I'm no expert at all, and I remembered lots of wingy builders moaning at the attempt to achieve a correct blue green The green tone you are using is perfectly identical to the original one Stunning job
