Well, I haven't broken the "golden rule", that being don't have more than one project on your bench at one time..........
This is a project I started about 5 years ago........ Mostly lost in the shuffle....It will be next after the Ferdinand....It will be my first "winter scene" in 20 years.
and yes it will be a while for updates...or not

Thanks for the support........ As a fellow 1/24th or 1/25th "er' you know it's all in the detail. BUT that's the draw for me....you can't run down to the hobby shop and buy a Verlinden this, or Caliber 35 that, or Aber thingee. In 1/25th you've got to make it yourself. Don't get me wrong I loved 1/35th for years. I just got to the point that there was NOTHING left to scratch build. To that end I share this quick thought, years ago I had the honor of meeting Shep Paine. His insights really left an impression on me. He said he always tried to take "chances" with his models. That's something I try and do. I love to look back at his work, he did all that "cool" stuff well before Verlinden, Aber, Caliber 35 and the others....... For me 1/25th is a throw back in that same vain....maybe one day I'll be one quarter as good as Shep Pain and the Duanne Pfisters of the model world

Both Shep and Duane told me (a long time ago) that you are the only person you have to please. I'll see if I can find the pics I took of the Nashorn at Aberdeen Proving grounds. I was thinking about building one of these in 16th scale (I still may).
