1/25th MarderII Crew and Grenadiers

So I have hit "the wall" with building so I am posting pic's...........

The first series is the 1/25th scale Panzergrenadiers accompanying a MarderII on it's way during the summer of 1942.

All the figures are modified Tamiya, with scratch built parts. In the case of the MG34 there are 50 plus parts added to upgrade them.

These are the 1/25th scale crew figures. A couple of cool things I attempted are: the Hauptman,(Captain) is based on a real 24th Panzer Division person. Since the 24th was the 1st Cavalry Division reorganized, the Captain kept his cavalry shoulder board color of mustard yellow, where the crewman has the pink of Panzerjager. Also the captain has a wrist watch, 6 stinking parts. There are some good uniform details, ribbons, and such. Both are not complete.....the MarderII is kind of in limbo.... the tracks are holding me up.........yes I could cheat and use the Tasca 1/24 PzII BUT.......................

Figures look pretty good especially the MG carrying soldier!

Don't see much done with figures in this scale, but those are a nice pair for sure.
