So i looked at the instructions for the Puma the other day and i just couldn't get going with them instructions. there a nightmare to read and kill the mojo, so i dug this guy out to get me motoring again The Kit. although i think mine is older because my box doesn't have this on the back like the new kits do, I wont be using the rocket things on the side because im Doing a Captured one in US hands So far so good anyhow with this one, Instructions are fine and easy on the eye and brain, I was going to buy a Resin Canvas cover but at almost 20 euro for a bit this size i think it was over priced. So i decided to make my one after. This thing was a disaster to make, putting in the support beams i broke them 4 times. spilled some oil and a cup of water and lost the rag at that point and things got kicked and my magic sculpt went flying that 20 euro would have saved all that,

Hi Spud ... I thought I was the only one who bought that kit ..lol I've never seen anyone build it up , so I'll be watching .. I was thinking of doing it as a 251/2 as well and keep the rockets for another Dragon 251C kit .. Nice start ..keep it coming .

Fantastic work on the cover... 20 EU just for a cover?!?!? Crazy!
Is that the kit you bought from Bill earlier? Always loved that 251 version as I built one out of Tamiya kit decades ago.

Count me in for this one, always fun seeing a 251 come together. have to agree that's a lot of cash for such a small casting, looks good though.

Spud - are you doing this as the mortar variant (as you aren't using the rockets)?

Looking good! Sounds like a good plan... maybe a small diorama with troops coming out to catch those beach bunnies suspected of being too friendly with US GIs in a duck.

Off to a great start spud! You should move this one over to the MHISC before you get it too far along. Love the look of that floor. Here's the link to the new forum: www.myhobbyinfo.com/forum/index.php
