At last..I've had a trapped nerve in me back for the last few months..Not life stopping but enough to make sure I couldn't sit hunched over me desk. So for a gentle return I've got two weeks to make this warrior for a charity auction, that will no doubt have ex crewmen or infantry there. So, no pressure then. I've had a look at some pics of the Accurate Armour 1/35 update set and done me best to copy them. First up the bulkhead walls for the engine compartment. Just cut plasticard and a couple of wires.
Then the turret basket. Some wire mesh from an ex desk tidy.
After all that, once the turret is in you can't even see the forward part.
On a side note I said in one of my other threads that me eldest is trying for the Bootnecks. Yesterday he passed his interview. I am massively proud.

Off and rolling! Back issues are no fun, good to see you back at the bench.

A small update for a lot of work. The WRAP 2 armour is coming along nicely. The vacforming went perfectly and then I scribed it. The backs are packed with BluTac to strengthen them.
And glued to the original armour sides.
