Hi Guys; I have the Hobbyboss M1070 - M1000 recovery unit I have been missing parts since I started it, but each time I go to www.hobbyboss.com, and hit translate... I go no place. At first I thought it was my unit So I tried others at school, work, local library even still encounter the same obstacle Anyone have suggestions, I've tried all i can and i'm that close to just tossing in garbage (though I'd really prefer not to) Bill

You need to find the distributor. The parent company will be worthless. I am looking to replace a Trumpeter part and found an MMD-squadron sticker on the side. That is the distributor for many Trumpeter kits and also might do Hobbyboss. They are still slow to respond but they usually do.
Hope that helps.

I had to double check what kit you have and it's the huge truck and trailer combo? Exactly what is it that's missing? Surely it's not a main component that is halting the build?
Don't toss it! Is it something that can be eliminated and not seen? Can it be scratch built or used from another kit?
And again... WHAT is missing? Has another friend tried checking on this for you?
DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Like Jeff just said, there are always options. I you have the part(s) number(s) you are missing, this will help on may levels. As for the distributor, MMD is one, Steven International is probably the next largest. Other larger companies like Squadron and Megahobby have a foothold as well if all else fails.
Also, if you can, snap a pic of the part from the instructions...some folks here have built this and may be able to help as well as maybe a way for you to scratch build the part.

I did some searching and found this: www.hobbyboss.com/plus/list.php?tid=7Here's a phone number: Tel:+86 760 86338326 A fax number: Fax:+86 760 86338326 And this web address Web:www.hobbyboss.com at the left lower of the page. FLOOD THEM with questions and pleas for help and they WILL take you seriously! (Especially since this kit is NOT cheap either) Jeff
